I understand that planning a wedding is a huge task and you may have a number of questions so here is a list of questions I often get asked to help you plan your day.
Q. Can we meet before you capture our big day
A. Yes of course– I always love to meet my couples, whether it be face to face over a coffee or we can even arrange a skype call if we can’t get together.
Q. Can you help us with how much photography coverage we might need?
A. Yes, if you are unsure what you might need to capture on your day we can go through the details and put a plan in place to suit your needs.
Q. How much deposit will we need?
A. I ask for 50% deposit to secure your booking and date and then the balance due one month prior to you date. Please talk to me if you need any special payment plans, we can come to an arrangement that suits us both.
Q. Do you do engagement/pre wedding shoots ?
A. Yes! I love doing engagement/pre wedding shoots this gives me a chance to get to know my couples and for you to really become comfortable with me.
Q. Do we need to feed you?
A. Yes please, with any package 6hrs plus, I go for a long time and need to be ready to capture all your memorable moments without being distracted by our grumbling stomachs!
Q. How many images will we get, when do we get our photos and how will they be delivered?
A. Depending on the package that you choose, will depend on how any images you receive, on average you will receive your digital images between 4-6 weeks after your wedding day, sometime if it is peak season maybe up to 8 weeks, but I will always keep you informed. I will send you a few sneak peak images a few days after your day to share with friends and family. You will receive your images as Edited Hi Res digital online via my website and also on a good quality USB.
Q. Do you travel interstate or overseas for weddings?
A. Absolutely!! Within Australia and International and for any occasion, I have my passport ready! especially small intimate elopements. Ask me about my travel deals and discounts.
Q. We are both uncomfortable having our photo taken how can you make it work?
A. I understand – a lot of people don’t love it. Getting to know our couples before the day makes a huge difference, this is why a pre-wedding shoot is always offered. I get to know you, you get to know me and by the time your wedding date arrives we are comfortable around each other. I try to avoid overly posed styled photography. We will suggest a few poses to make sure you’re both looking good, but then we will direct you and play around to let it naturally unfold from there. All we ask is that you trust us to do our thing, forget about the cameras, and to remember why you fell in love.
Q. What if it rains?
A. I can still shoot! We might need to adapt a few things as we go and use some umbrella’s, sometimes the most creative shots come from the rain.
